I had so much fun planning for this event! We decorated the house with fiesta-themed decor and incorporated the book whenever possible.
The front and back of the invitations
A few pages from the book on our dining room wall.
The dessert table included margarita cupcakes, churro cupcakes, “fireball” truffles, taco-like tarts, Mexican brownies, brightly colored truffles and cookies.
I made all the desserts, with exception of the cake, to fit the dragon/ taco theme.
Tequila-lime frosting. Enough said.
Fiesta cupcakes were filled with sprinkles and mm’s.
Miniature taco cookies were a hit with the kids! We used mini tart shells, crumbled oreo cookies and colored coconut.
Guests treated themselves to a build your own sangria and margarita bar.
Because every 3rd birthday party needs a build your own sangria and margarita bar.
We had a variety of pops that were “hecho en Mexico.”
Dinner included a variety of tacos (obviously!), Mexican Street Corn, Rice and Beans.
The SS Taco and “No Spicy Salsa!” book may have been my favorite crafts.
I made the salsa jars and salsas.
We always provide to-go boxes for guests to bring home some treats.
We had activities for the kids (including a taco pinata!) set up downstairs along with a collage wall with about 40 pictures of Eliza eating tacos. Did I mention that she LOVES tacos?
Activity table for the kiddos.
Eliza loves Tacos!
Eliza Loves Tacos!
It was a wonderful party!
The birthday girl got her first set of wheels! The look on her cousin’s face is absolutely priceless.
